Who else happens to be a fan of no-bake recipes for those hot summer days? When the temperatures rise & the humidity is on, the last thing I want to do is turn on my oven to whip up a sweet treat for myself & the kiddos. That's why when Thomas' English Muffins asked me to come up with a perfect for summertime recipe that went beyond the breakfast table, I knew I wanted to create a dessert recipe that was simple & easy and required no baking time whatsoever.

Simply split & toast your muffin, & then top with your favorite dessert toppings combination! These dessert "pizza" muffins are so easy to make even the kiddos can help with them.
Here are a few suggestions & tips for making these Easy Dessert "Pizza" Muffins:
- Not a big fan of strawberries? Try banana slices or fresh raspberries with the chocolate hazelnut spread instead. Or get really crazy & top it with more than one fruit.
- While I am a big fan of the chocolate & peanut butter combo, you could certainly swap in almond butter or sunflower butter instead. Or go for the chocolate lovers version and sub in chocolate hazelnut spread for the peanut butter.
- Try strawberry or raspberry jam on the cream cheese version instead of the cherry preserves. Go with light cream cheese & low sugar jam to make this a lower calorie sweet treat.
- For a little kid-friendly fun this summer, set up a toppings bar with various spreads, jams, fruits, & chocolate chips and let the kiddos create their own personalized versions of these dessert "pizza" muffins.
