From easy princess perfect recipes & simple decorating ideas to cake inspiration, here is everything you need to plan a Sparkling Pink Princess Party...
My youngest turned three this month- I am seriously still wrapping my head around that one, folks. I swear, it seems like I literally just blinked and three years have already passed! Birthday #3 was definitely a fun one for us. This was the first birthday that she was able to choose her own party theme, and the first year in which she really understood what was going on before and during her party.
She knew months ago that she wanted a Disney princess party, so I started gathering up ideas and party supplies early on for her special day.
While it was Disney princess all the way, everything was also pink... and very sparkly. ;) Totally princess appropriate...
Our little birthday princess is currently Frozen obsessed (like every other little girl between the ages of 2 and 10 in this country, lol), so it was only appropriate that she donned her Elsa dress and crown for her special day. I actually found this complete princess set for under $20 on Amazon. (Pssstttt... none of the links in this post are affiliate links. I get nothing if you click over and buy. I just want to share with you all where I found all my pretty princess goodies. :) ).
My mother was actually the cake baker and decorator for this year's royal celebration. She had once made a Cinderella cake very similar to this one for my birthday party when I was little and asked to do the same for little miss's princess cake. Little miss went with Belle for her cake.
I spotted some beautiful glitter dipped balloons over on My Sister's Suitcase (look for the how-to in the comments of her post), and I knew that I wanted to create a sparkling pink balloon chandelier to hang over the party table. I recruited my crafty sister to come help me with this. Little miss LOVED these. In fact, they are still hanging on our dining room light fixture because she refuses to let me take them down yet. ;) Her party was almost two weeks ago...
For this year's royal celebration, I decided to serve a punch. But not just any punch, folks. A Sparkling Pink Princess Punch...

I kept the food simple, yet sparkling pink for this year's party. In addition to the beautiful princess cake, ice cream, and the easy to make Sparkling Pink Princess Punch, I also served a Sparkling Princess Popcorn. You can click on over here to get the recipe for that.
