It's that time of December.... time for that scramble for last minute holiday gifts!
This Peppermint Bark Mocha Mug Cake Gift is the perfect teacher or hostess gift.  It is also wonderful to have a few made up and on hand for those unexpected gift givers (you all know who I am talking about- those friends & family who pop over & bring you a little something that you were not expecting and then you feel sort of like a jerk because you happen to be empty-handed. ;) )

This little gift also happens to be super easy to put together & extremely budget friendly!  You can pick up cute holiday mugs at your local dollar store.  I found this one at Walmart for less than $2!  You could also take a cue from all those DIY Sharpie decorated mug tutorials I have been seeing on Pinterest- just pick up a box of plain white mugs & some Sharpies and personalize away!

Of course, you could just pick up a bag of Hershey's Peppermint Bark Bells & whip up a few of these on Christmas Eve night for family or friends.... or really any time. ;)

I love to make these Peppermint Bark Mocha Mug Cakes with coffee leftover from the morning pot of joe.  If your gift recipient happens to not be a coffee drinker, they could substitute milk for the coffee.  But it really wouldn't be a mocha mug cake then.... but still really moist, chocolaty, pepperminty, & delicious! :)
