I think most of us are familiar with the Skinny Cow brand by now because of their line of delicious, calorie friendly ice cream products, but did you know that Skinny Cow is now making a line of candy bars with the same goal in mind?
Yep. Delicious, calorie friendly candy bars!
You all know me. I have a mean, mean sweet tooth. A quick glance at my Recipes page will prove that. But leg baring, bikini showing season will be here before we all know it. I know my addiction to all things chocolate and sweet could thwart my best attempts at getting myself beach and summer ready. And here comes Skinny Cow with A Divine Intervention... :)
I was sent two boxes of the NEW Skinny Cow Divine Filled Chocolates to try- the Peanut Butter Creme and the Caramel.
I am not going to lie- I am always a little skeptical of anything I view as diet this or that.
But all doubt flew out the window from my first bite.
These I can do.
These I could do every single day. ;)
And at just 130 calories for each 3 piece pouch?? Are they for real with this?
I mean, just look at that yumminess up there! A creamy, sweet, slightly salty caramel wrapped in milk chocolate. Oh, and you get to eat THREE of those. For just 130 calories!
I also really loved the Peanut Butter Creme. I am not sure I could actually claim a favorite just yet. Might have to try them again just to be sure. ;)
Are you all sold yet? Because you can find the NEW Skinny Cow Divine Filled Chocolates in the candy aisle of your local grocer's right now! :)
The Divine Filled Chocolates even made it into my special treats jar. This is mommy's jar and everyone in the house knows that it is hands off. :)
So what are you waiting for? You can still enjoy a candy bar that tastes sinful without shouldering all the guilt. Just pick up a box of the NEW Skinny Cow Divine Filled Chocolates today. They are definitely Frugal Foodie Mama approved! And I don't kid when it comes to chocolate, folks. ;)
