Okay, I have to be honest. One of the perks I have been able to recently enjoy as a blogger is the opportunity to try (and in most cases, keep!) awesome products for free. Not that "getting free stuff" has ever or will ever be the focus of my blog. But if a product is something that is line with my blog and my lifestyle, I want to try it. If I want to try it enough, I will often even contact the company or individual who makes the product of my admiration. This was just such the case with my Action Baby Carrier. I had been pining for one. Admiring them from afar on Facebook.... Wanting so badly to try their carrier, but restricted by this whole one income thing we have happening over here in our household. ;)
So, you can only imagine how ecstatic I was when ABC replied back to my email offering me the awesome opportunity to try one of their carriers. Over the moon, you all!
Action Baby Carriers actually started from one woman's idea to hand make baby carriers for family members who were having babies. And the the business (and the ideas) snowballed from there!
We have been avid, loyal Moby users. But as baby girl was getting longer and I was failing to grow taller, it was getting harder and harder for me to get her little chubby legs through the wrap. I had been looking for an alternative. The Action Baby Carrier has been the perfect next step in our babywearing evolution.
Our first real test of the ABC was when I took it with us for a family reunion we were attending at a state park. This state park has numerous hiking trails, and I knew this would be the perfect place to really give our new carrier a proper trial.
It was easy to put on. Literally 3 places that need snapped in place. That's it.
It was a hit with baby girl. I couldn't believe she feel asleep in it while we were walking! She hadn't fallen asleep while I was wearing her in over 2 months at that point. So, you all know it must have been comfy for her. ;)
The Action Baby Carrier can also be worn on the back. We haven't tried this carry yet, but I plan to when we go apple picking in a couple of weeks. (I am sure there will be another post later on about what we think of the ABC as a back carrier.)
The Action Baby Carrier comes in lots of fabulous prints and solids as well. CLICK HERE to see all of them. (In case you are wondering, our carrier is the Canyon print. ;) )
And because Action Baby Carriers is just THAT awesome, they are offering all of my readers $20 off all their regular priced carriers ($98+) with the coupon code "frugal" at check-out. What a fabulous way to celebrate International Babywearing Week, right?? :) Stop on over to their website and check out them out! :)
