Halloween is almost here! :) Does anyone else get as excited about Halloween as I do? It is a time of the year to let your imagination go wild and the one night (or 2 or 3) that you can be anything that you would like to be!
I have fond childhood memories of deciding what I would be each year, and then watching as my mother created the most creative and wonderful costumes for my sister and I by hand. Unfortunately, I do not possess my mom's skills with the needle and sewing machine so I still commission her (or my sister who managed to get her crafty gene) to help me with my Halloween costume and my children's each year when needed.
Yes, I get dressed up every year. My parents host a Halloween costume party each year. A tradition that was passed down to them from my grandparents. It is something that we look forward to every year. In fact, I start planning out my costume for the following year as soon as the Halloween clearance sales begin. ;)
